There are few objects whose function offers as many design possibilities and different materials as vases. The Cariani vases are rather noble glass objects that set off individual flowers and leaves in a special way. Cariani is mouth-blown from clear and solid-coloured glass using the socalled overlay technique. The thick ice of the vase encloses the coloured inner body and makes the colours shine like precious stones. Small bubbles in the ice are a sign of this genuine, handcrafted process. Stubborn edges, lime deposits and plant residues can be removed with vinegar cleaner. Do not wash your vase in the dishwasher, this could lead to socalled chill bubbles.
