Donato vase glass

The Donato vases are mouth-blown in a special process from studio glass, which has irregularities and tiny air pockets which clearly demonstrate its handcrafted character. Opaque glass particles in caramel and honey tones are applied to the red-hot glass before the corpus is mouth-blown. The glass corpus is then overlaid with a layer of clear glass, creating an almost ceramic effect that looks different in every piece. This unique vase should be cleaned by hand with warm water and a mild dishwashing liquid. Tough limescale rings and plant residue can be removed with vinegar essence.
