The Midori vessels are especially ideal for showcasing a single flower, exotic leaves or an orchid branch in a stylish arrangement. The Midori vessels are poured from so-called fine ceramics, high-fired and then finished by hand with a metallic reactive glaze. During the firing process the colour glazes run together, creating exciting colour variegations with shimmering grey and green nuances. This gives the vessels their distinctive character and turns each workpiece into a unique item. The handmade pottery is fired at over 1000 degrees and should therefore be waterproof. Nevertheless, tiny hairline cracks can occur during use, which may allow moisture to pass through and sweat through the bottom.
