There are few objects whose function offers as many design possibilities and different materials as vases. The Morandi vases are objets d’art that showcase any bouquet, but can also be displayed as a stand-alone piece thanks to their compelling graphic look. Morandi is mouth-blown of solid-coloured glass with a flash overlay. Thick blobs of glass are blown into the glass during the glassmaking process and have a slightly different shape in every workpiece. This makes every glass a unique piece with its own character. Finally, the surfaces of the glass are given a satin finish with an acid solution. Tough limescale rings and plant residue can be removed with vinegar essence. This vase should not be put in the dishwasher, as the glass could crack.
