One of the oldest handicraft techniques of mankind is the production of ceramic vessels, which in principle has not changed over the millennia. Pots and vessels are still produced today in a similar process. Sealine vessels are handmade from a high-fired body. Inspired by natural shapes, such as the wavy lines in the ocean floor and a type of algae seen under a microscope, Lambert designed the Sealine vessels. The sculptural, handcrafted character of Sealine works in any setting. Sealine is intended to be used as an outdoor planter. To use as a decorative vessel indoors, a smaller glass or plastic insert must be used, as the vessels have a hole so they can also be planted.
