That is how we call the technique to cover objects with layers of coloured lacquer, which stands out for its exceptional hardness after drying. Even today Lambert has these tables made by traditional methods in small factories. Up to twelve layers of Burmese lacquer must be applied onto a bamboo wickerframe. Only by acting that way, the desired quality can be achieved.
