Carara marble plate, white

The name of this exquisite bowl says it all: It was named after a famous region in Europe where some of the finest marble is extracted. This is reflected in the elegance of the material and the form of the Carara vase. The flat elliptic form is hand-carved from a big block of marble and then polished by hand. Marble is a natural material that can have variegated colours and fine, feathery veining. Marble is sensitive to acidic substances, for example fruit that overripens could leave spots and rings on the surface. The bowl can be washed with warm water and dishwashing liquid. Time to time its fine shine can be rejuvenated with a marble polish.
