Casati storm lantern iron, outside glossy yellow

Whether in summer or winter, one cannot have enough small, decorative storm lanterns. With great dexterity and skill, Casati is moulded into shape from fine metal sheeting. Inside the simple form is finished by hand with gold or silver leaf using a traditional technique. The metal surface of the exterior is left in its natural state and finished with a protective layer of varnish. Although the surface of Casati has a protective finish, it should not be left outside exposed to the elements.Candlewax should not be removed with sharp objects but rather carefully softened with warm water and peeled away. A soft cloth and some dishwashing liquid are ideal for cleaning.
