The Proton tea candle holder is a striking design object that was specially developed for the more elegant votive. The form is carefully modelled in wax by the artisan and then poured in a sandcasting process. The surface is then finished by hand with an elegant, dark bronze patina. Melted wax can be easily removed with warm water and dishwashing liquid, which is best done by hand. Wax should not be scraped off with sharp objects as this would damage the shiny polished surface.
