Rankaku storm lantern iron, outside light green

The shape of this decorative lantern looks like broken eggshells. Inside, the hand-pressed metal bowl is covered with golden leaf metal; from the outside, the amorphous form is coloured with a burnt-in varnish. Wax residues should be removed carefully with warm water; sharp objects will destroy the leaf metal surface.
