Tohoku votive small, iron, multicolour

Unusual storm lanterns always make a decorative highlight. Tohoku transforms candlelight into a special light show. The form is a collage of metal pieces with a variety of different patina finishes. The fine cracks between the pieces let the candlelight through, creating a beautiful light show on the walls and table. Melted wax can be easily removed with warm water and dishwashing liquid, which should be done carefully by hand. Tohoku should not be exposed to moisture for any length of time as this would damage the surface finish.
