Yasu vessel with grooves aluminium casted

The lines of this decorative container wrap around its elegant body like soft waves in the water or desert sand. Yasu is made from aluminium in a sand-casting process. Its exquisite shape was carefully hand-carved in wax first. The surface finish is applied in several handcrafted steps. Flowers and twigs stand up nicely in the Yasu vase. A glass or plastic insert should be used, as corrosion can occur if the metal is exposed to moisture for any length of time. The surface can be cleaned with warm water and a soft cloth; abrasive objects will scratch the delicate finish.
